The Hilton Wilmington Riverside is gearing up for another season of Marine Corps Birthday celebration! Check out this video highlight of one of last years events!
Carmen & Ricky were married in downtown Wilmington during one of the stormiest days of the year. But Carmen heard that if you stick a knife in the ground on your wedding day, it will not rain. Well her and her bridesmaids tried it and amazingly enough, it worked! There were tornados all over NC, but the bad weather stayed away from downtown. And what a great day it turned out to be. The ceremony and reception at St. Thomas Preservation Hall were amazing. Indigo Silver provided beautiful photos of the day and DJ Professionals and Video provided the great sound for the event. It was a great pleasure to be a part of this ceremony!
Billy and Katelyn were so much fun to work with. Everyone, including their little one, Jackson, was all smiles. It was a windy, yet beautiful ceremony on the wonderful beaches of Topsail Island with the reception right behind us at St. Regis Resort. Ray Baca was there snapping gorgeous photos as the day went on. The party went off without a hitch, all the way to their sparkler exit!
Dmitri and Gabe had the privilege of shooting Jess and Lee Ann’s gorgeous beach wedding this past May. What a great couple and bridal party to work with…and you can’t beat the location! Congratulations, guys! We wish you all the best!
What a gorgeous day for a wedding in historic downtown Wilmington! From start to finish, everything flowed together flawlessly for this laid back and easy to work with bride and groom! From the always entertaining sermon delivered by Father Bob at St. Mary’s to the sunshine-soaked reception at The Upper Room across the street, Keith and Rebecca’s wedding was an utter joy to be a part of!
Enjoy the highlights and let us know what you think!
River Landing is stunning. Let me “say” it again. RIVER LANDING IS STUNNING! Also, NANCY POSPIECH IS STUNNING!
I was fortunate enough to take part in Chris and Nancy’s wedding in April. This couple, this venue, their friends and family…it all added up to an amazing day that they will surely never forget!
It was a great day getting to know Chris and Nancy in the days leading up to their wedding. We were blessed with a fantastic spring day in downtown Wilmington to shoot on! We went all over the place and this couple’s love for each other was apparent at every twist and turn.
Congratulations, guys! I’m thrilled to have been a part of your special day!
This was the first wedding I’ve had the pleasure of filming in The River Room! Instead of the normal hustle and bustle one goes through scurrying to location after location, everything was much more relaxed as we were operating out of our home base!
David and Marinella got ready at The Hilton, then walked down the boardwalk together on their way to The River Room. Their ceremony was held on our back deck. The laid back mood was aided by the calming breeze and tranquil waters of the Cape Fear.
After the ceremony, the party was moved in doors. I was a little nervous that with all the cameras we had rolling (shooters included myself, Derek Pons, and Sean Balogh, as well as Jessie Baker and Austin Stinson from Baca Photography). However, after the lemon cello got flowing, no one seemed to care about any of the cameras, instead focusing on having a great time!
David and Marienella’s wedding was a multi-cultural affair, as American, Peruvian, and Italian families helped celebrate the newly weds!
On behalf of everyone at DJ Professionals and Video, Baca Photography, and The River Room – thank you for letting us take part in your special day!
The whole team travelled up to Morehead City, North Carolina to rock out Mackenzie Hudson and Ashlee Mullennex’s Sweet 16 party! Matt was DJing, Brian handled the lights, and I (Adam) ran video!
Everyone had a great time! Ashlee and Mackenzie danced the night away with all their friends…as you can see in the video! I don’t think these kids ever stopped dancing…not even for CAKE! Ahhh…to be 16 again!
We made two videos for this party. One is a pretty straight forward recollection of the night. The other is a little different. It’s a mash-up we made mixing footage from the party with the New Boyz video for “You’re A Jerk”! Enjoy!
